rawvolution is a cosy little hang out place in LA

everyone is very friendly & chatty there & theres comfy sofas 2 sit on

out of all the places ive been 2 its the one with the most relaxed vibe

& a stunning array of desserts & chocolates

anyone who carries rainbow unicorn fairy crystal crunch is good by me

the 1st time i went i had a triple chocolate explosion (no surprise there)

then the next time i had a twix turtle. it had a yacon syrupy bit & buckwheaties in the centre.

the light is incredible here

with a quality & a crispness far surpassing that of the brighton light i so often marvel at

which is obviously one of the main reasons why the film industry is here

also the sun sets really quickly – u dont get an hour of dusk like we do – more like 10 mins & bam! its proper dark

surprisingly 4 a country where everything is supersized, the pier is very small

there were seagulls, tho not loads like we have, pigeons & pelicans

it’s fascinating bcos altho at first glance everything seems so similiar 2 england, look a little closer & there R so many subtle but significant differences.

trashy lingerie

it was called trashy lingerie & it was very david lynch.

ani happens 2 B one of the sweetest people i have ever met

she also took me 2 erewhon where they had huge posters up 4 mi talk which was a bit freaky.

in the evening i went 2 brainfeeder with a facebook friend called jackie. nosaj thing was incredible.

i am having such a beyond awesome time. i am getting a little fed up at the lack of words 2 describe the multiplicity of magical experiences that R manifesting 4 me.

city of angels

once i’d got past immigration (who let me in very reluctantly) i had the most amazing welcome 2 america.

matt & gela met me at mi hotel with a mind-blowing box of treats (of which more later…)

then they took me 2 rawvolution which blew mi mind sum more

as if by magic, we “bumped in2″ chrissy there, who i had been planning 2 meet up with anyways

so there we were, 3 english girls having T & cake. & it was raining.

i think we span matt out a little. but that didnt stop him filming us 4 his rawfoodworld tv show.

when we got bac 2 the hotel i turned the tables & filmed him, which ill put on utube soon.

i 4got mi camra so i didnt take many pics, altho gela kindly let me use hers. these R artworks from the walls of rawvolution.

2day holds in store a nail bar in beverly hills, lunch with ani phyo, the beach, & a brainfeeder night. once again i do not have the words. we need new words! 4 the amazingness of life&love&blessings&magic&bliss….

My first Christmas as a raw fooder was in 1993. I didn’t do very well, to be honest. I seem to remember going hard on the roast potatoes.

Anyhow, I’ve had lots of opportunities to invent raw Christmas fayre, and in the spirit of the season in 2009, I thought I’d compile a list for you to inspire you for your own raw Christmas menus.

Gravies

Warming your gravy and serving it over your dinner is always a good idea. Warm your plates as well. If you’re using a dehydrator, try and serve as much as possible straight from it. Warm is good.
